Potential Soil Moisture Deficit (PSMD)  

The PSMD is only an estimate and assumes that on the 1st January of each year that soil moisture has returned to field capacity i.e 0

The graphs and data are produced from the raw data which may contain missing values. Missing values are replaced with data from the other sites in the order of Harpenden with Woburn, Woburn with Harpenden and Brooms Barn with Woburn.
